"The Artist as Muse" Exhibition at Gutstein Gallery

July 31, 2019

Three of my paintings are included in the group exhibition “The Artist as Muse,” on view at Gutstein Gallery in Savannah, GA from Thursday, August 1 to Saturday, October 5, 2019.

From SCAD.edu: “The timeless subject of the artist self-portrait is explored across a range of mediums in this group exhibition featuring work by contemporary artists and SCAD students and alumni. The artworks on view go beyond representations of artist likeness, using the artist-self as a starting point to interrogate issues such as ego, labor, technology, identity politics and family. These artists probe the question of what defines self-portraiture within the limitless domain of contemporary art.”

Featuring the work of:

Natalie Baxter, Lucky DeBellevue, Adama Delphine Fawundu, Ivan Forde, Joey Frank, Kyle Henderson, Gonzalo Hernandez, Karolina Jabłońska, Tomasz Kręcicki, Maggie Mullin O’Hara, Purvisha Peshwe, Michael-Birch Pierce, Cyryl Polaczek, Tabboo!, Olivia Tiberio, Karina Rosenstein,Todd Schroeder, and Elizabeth Winnel
